Godzilla vs Big Bear Lake!

Marek and I decided to take some R & R up in Big Bear Lake this past week at my parents house. As you know from a previous post, Marek is now walking EVERYWHERE. He kinda looks like Godzilla when he walks. You know that look, arms out, not swinging, legs kinda swaying, etc. Plus this kid leaves a wake of destruction or maybe just toys. But at least he's cute doing it. He also learned how to walk sides and turn and go the opposite direction, things we take for granted, this kid is mastering.

Here's some pics of our time in heaven:

We took Marek on a little walk after his bath and my mom kept freaking out that he was cold...so...we covered him blankets. Poor kid got hot (as I knew he would. Runs hot like his Mama) so he peaked his tootsies out from under the blanket.

Here he his. The male version of Mother Teresa.

Marek is registered at Williams-Sonoma for his birthday. He'll take any baking pans, utensils and measuring cups you can find.

He's been posing with this smile lately. It cracks me up!

My Mozart with his Tati.

Again, with the smile. Priceless.

Oh yeah, Godzilla learned how to climb up stairs too.

"Mom, there's a silly Grizzly bear outside the back door."

"Mom! He's still here and he's super SILLY!"

A REAL Grizzly at the Big bear Zoo

Marek pointing out the Coatamundi. He got SO excited when they would wrestle and play with eachother.

I love how close you can get to the animals at this Zoo. Marek was lovin' every minute.

I think we need to teach Gamma the secret to getting Marek to smile for the camera.

We had a great time in Big Bear and can't wait to go back to our favorite Bed & Breakfast, uh, I mean Grandparents house! Thanks for making our trip AWESOME Tati and Gamma!!!
