Going for a walk in the snow suit.
Little Goose fell asleep on the way back :-)
Still asleep...
Emerging from his snow suit...still asleep of course
Everyone passed out on the drive home...except for Mama of course!

Went up to Big Bear Lake for Marek's first Christmas! He did very well on the drive up and back! What a trooper! We got up there on Christmas Eve and were welcomed with yummy cookies and a great dinner! Santa was able to locate Marek and dropped off some presents under the tree for him. (Thank you Santa for the moo cow that sings numbers and colors. I now can't get that song out of my head! :-))

Can't wait to see him walking around the Christmas tree next year!

"Can't Take My Eyes Off You"

You're just too good to be true.

Can't take my eyes off you.

You'd be like Heaven to touch.

I wanna hold you so much.

At long last love has arrived

And I thank God I'm alive.

You're just too good to be true.

Can't take my eyes off you.

Eventful Monday followed by an Annoying Tuesday

Event #1
Marek pulled the green frog on his bouncy chair that makes noise all by himself. I was doing the dishes with my back turned to him when I heard a VERY familiar tune. I turned around and saw a baby with the happiest, most accomplished look on his face! I took these two photos after he pulled the frog again (and yes, I captured this all on video - can you tell this is our first baby?).

Event #2
So yesterday was rainy and really windy down here by the beach. So windy that it blew the door to our side yard (where we keep the trash cans) open. Gabby my little explorer decided she would venture into this area and see what she could get into. The moment she stepped foot into the forbidden land the door slammed shut locking her in. Here is a picture I took after I rescued her from her self-made dungeon :-)

Event #3
This one doesn't have a picture. It was too grusome for me to take. We had ANTS EVERYWHERE yesterday in my kitchen. I think I should also mention that Ihad just bleached and scrubbed the kitchen the night before. Anyway, they were all over my stove and ovens.

Here's where Tuesday gets annoying:
The ants are now in my dishwasher. WTF?! How do ants get in a sealed dishwasher? More importantly how to do they survive two wash cycles and heated dry?

HELP!!

Lazy Saturday

How come every Saturday all the people and creatures in my house are asleep EXCEPT for me? Perhaps its because I'm used to sleeping 4 hours or cleaning or doing laundry or paying bills or cooking something. I miss my Lazy Saturdays! :-)

But I would miss Marek more if he wasn't in my life! I'm not going to say I can't imagine my life before him (evidence: me missing Saturdays), but I will say that the life I had before him was lazy and boring and all about me. Now its all about US. A much better place to be!!

Love Them! Love Him!

Matt, Marek, Bruiser and Gabby - sleeping
Marek asleep on his pillow :-)
Marek with his crazy Mama
Going for a walk in Central Park
Happiest, most loved baby of all time! My little Marek!

Thanksgiving

Matt & Marek at Eric's Parent's house
Protective Mama (soothing my little man)
Marek needed a break from all the little hands on him (back to Mama for a nap)
Cousins!
Grandma Elaine

Marek was a champ for Thanksgiving. He let everyone hold him and cuddle him. He was PERFECT. When he looked like he needed a break Matt or I (mostly me :-)) would take him. I was getting separation anxiety at the end so I mostly held him before we left the Boyaner Thanksgiving. From there we went to the Dodge's and the Silman's. He was sooooo good through it all. I didn't take pictures at every house...didn't want to jinx his perfection!
