Lazy Saturday

How come every Saturday all the people and creatures in my house are asleep EXCEPT for me? Perhaps its because I'm used to sleeping 4 hours or cleaning or doing laundry or paying bills or cooking something. I miss my Lazy Saturdays! :-)

But I would miss Marek more if he wasn't in my life! I'm not going to say I can't imagine my life before him (evidence: me missing Saturdays), but I will say that the life I had before him was lazy and boring and all about me. Now its all about US. A much better place to be!!

Marek was a champ for Thanksgiving. He let everyone hold him and cuddle him. He was PERFECT. When he looked like he needed a break Matt or I (mostly me :-)) would take him. I was getting separation anxiety at the end so I mostly held him before we left the Boyaner Thanksgiving. From there we went to the Dodge's and the Silman's. He was sooooo good through it all. I didn't take pictures at every house...didn't want to jinx his perfection!

Halloween

Went to the Ludwig's for some trick or treating. Marek was the cutest little hotdog - for a whole five minutes! He was a little too long for the costume. He did pretty good the rest of the evening until we had to cut the night short and go back and feed him. I promise next year you'll be able to choose your own costume and get a few pieces of candy!

Going on Week 2

Its been an adventure so far. This really is the hardest most rewarding job. But the real question is: How do people do this with more than one?

Sorry! A lot has happened since I last wrote in here.

1. Baby shower with work - Thanks Alliant!!

2. Baby shower with Family & Friends - Thanks guys!!

3. Last day of work, August 14th! - I'm offcially on LOA

4. Moved in between all that.

5. Finishing touches on baby's room

6. preparing for birth

I'll need to update this again when I have more time. I'm just trying to run around right now and get some last minute things so i can finally relax. :-)

P.S. I don't have any pictures of the baby showers...sorry! I'm a terrible mom. I really don't have any pics of anything...here's hoping i can redeem myself when little B is born...
