Big Bear Lake...attack of Princess Peanut von Misharoo

Marek loves coming here as you know. He had this box waiting for him on his first morning in Big Bear.

Misha and her Nana. No really. Zara loves her and Marek so much. She's so gentle and good with them and follows them EVERYWHERE - just like a good Nana.

Wish she did more of this on the trip. It was a little difficult the first few nights to get her to sleep on her schedule. (love the cheeks!)

Her first real giggle session. Zara was throwing a toy in the air and catching it and Misha, out of nowhere, laughed so loud, big belly roll laughs. We were all cracking up!

Love bug in her chair.

Marek, aka Mozart. The man LOVES the piano!

My poor parents living room turned into Marek's storage area for all of their pots and pans. If he becomes a famous chef, we have no one to blame but my parents :-)

My mom is going to kill me for posting this picture, but look at all their faces as my dad flips the crepe (yes, they have a stove, but he loves to cook outdoors). Oh, and the crepes were AMAZING!

Zara, Misha's nana, loving on her, even if all she can reach are her toes!

Splish Splash! Since Zara killed the exercise pool (long story), Marek got to enjoy this little pool in its place.

Did I mention 80 pound Labradors make excellent lap dogs?

Zoo time with Gamma!

Floor time!

Hey, if one couch has pots and pans, then the other one shall too!

My little stud eating his PB & J on his very OWN table.

Gamma and Misharoo

**Disclaimer**
Please note that we do put Misha in girl clothes. But the only warm PJ's I have are Marek's old ones. Sorry little roo but that's what happens when you're number two!

Happy Father's Day!

This year I decided to make something for Matt to put on his desk for Father's Day. He had been slightly harassing me for pics of the kids soooo I took my first of (hopefully several!) Photo Shop lessons from the wonderfully talented, Michelle Boyaner, to come up with this little family collage:

As you can plainly see, I definitely need WAY MORE lessons. The little father's day tag on the lower right was placed there because I couldn't get a picture to work and didn't really think Matt would want me to send his mouse into his uber expensive computer screen in frustration.

***
On the other hand, my artistically-gifted son drew his own Father's Day gift from scratch:

But alas, he has his crazy Mother's cleaning gene so after he was done drawing and coloring, he decided he would help me clean up. So he put the crayons back in the box:

...and dumped them out again...

...and back in the box, etc. About 5 times until mommy distracted him with a cookie and hid the box of crayons.

***
This Father's Day was the first Father's Day with our family complete. 2 parents and 2 kids. The kids and I just want to say: Thank you to our fabulous hubby/dada who works his tail off so I can stay home and raise our children (and hide crayon boxes!). You are an amazing friend, partner, husband, father any woman could ask for! We love you!

Mother's Day Visitors

My sister, brother-in-law, oldest nephew and niece all happened to be out in California for Mother's Day this year. It was so much fun having everyone here. Makes me want to figure out a way to get them all back here again so we can take a picture of everyone this time! I only have pictures of the girls...so you can tell which family members were going nuts over Misha! :-)

Tami and Marek at Huntington Beach by the pier

Another pic of auntie and nephew :-)

Tami, spit up towel and Misha. haha!

Ashley and Misha, about 2 seconds before she smiled.

I LOVE this pic. Everyone is smiling with their mouth open. Its so funny!

Rocking Horse, Sand Box and Other Cuteness

I thought I'd post some more recent pictures of the kids since I haven't updated our blog in FOREVER. I never realized how much time two kids under the age of two can suck up! But i'm not complaining. Just seeing these little faces makes it all worth it! So enjoy the munchkins!

Marek's rocking horse, which used to be my horse, which my parents built and painted. Talk about a cool think to pass down to your children. I hope my grandkids get to enjoy this rocking horse one day too!

Marek playing in his sandbox. Turn on a little sprinkler and you've got Beach Boyaner! Ooddles of summer fun!

Misha and I when she was about 2 months old. She's so little here. She's growing so fast these days...

My most favorite picture of Marek. This is the face he makes when he knows he's doing something wrong.

I think her "color" is yellow. She looks so cute in it!

First days of summer and almost 4 months old!

Two peas in a pod. My little munchkins. How can you not love those little faces?!

7 lbs 5 oz, 20 inches
Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, CA

Labor and Delivery went fast and mostly painless. I would like to personally thank my wonderful team of doctors and nurses for a most pleasant experience. Dr. Kroll, for vacuuming and catching my baby girl. Nurse Kelly, for letting me curse up a storm when I needed to and for being my pain advocate when I couldn't be. And lastly, Dr. Holcombe. My love. The man who placed the epidural needle in my back. Without you, my husband would not have his hands or arms because I would have broken them during labor. Thank you for your magical, steady, quick hands. Oh and I can't forget Bill and Sue Gross, for donating your millions so I could have a private room with a view of the pacific ocean.

Thank you all.
